Editor's Pick, Late Night Eats: Beezer's Sandwich Shop

Beezer’s Gourmet Sandwich Shop is a quick and delicious, locally-owned option for a midnight snack. I passed by Beezer’s more times than I can count, but now that I’ve had it, I crave the Double D sandwich and cookie at least once a week.

Beezer’s is located beside Tio’s Mexican Cafe at the end of the Horseshoe and is easy to miss if you’re not paying attention. Its extensive menu includes a variety of sandwiches that’ll be ready in a few minutes, literally, maybe even before you’re done paying. A hidden gem on the menu is the “Beezer Freeze,” an ice cream sandwich using those legendary, homemade chocolate chip cookies.

No matter what you end up getting, the food is delicious and the longstanding shop is a staple for UofSC students and Columbia residents!
